“What drew you to nesto?”

I first heard about nesto through a friend who is also a Dev here, and based on their thoughts about how great it is working at nesto I was very intrigued. I did some research into the company and saw that my values aligned really well with nesto’s and the product is amazing, so I was convinced!

“What’s your favorite part about being on the dev team?”

The comradery is unbelievable, and the teams work really well together. We continuously learn from each other, with lots of senior devs on the team, and there’s no shortage of exciting challenges. I love that it’s possible to work from home or go into the office, I especially love the Thursday happy hours!  

“When you compare what you do now with what you were doing before, what stands out to you the most?”

I’d say it’s knowing that the product we work on at Nesto has an impact on people’s lives every day. Helping people with the biggest purchase they’ll make, makes me feel proud to work here.

“If you had one piece of advice to someone thinking about applying to nesto, what would it be?”

Simply put: Just do it, you won’t regret it!

“What drew you to nesto?” 

To be working with latest/trendy technologies such as Golang, Kubernetes. The startup culture. To have the chance to be within a successful business that is fearlessly disrupting the industry (it’s inspiring).

“What’s your favorite part about being on the dev team?”

Being surrounded with highly skilled and motivated professionals.Working together is super easy. There is a lot of openness and desire to deliver great products. We can have fun at work and outside! 🍻

“When you compare what you do now with what you were doing before, what stands out to you the most?”

I can see the direct impact of the features I develop on our users and customers. Almost everything we do has never been done before in Canada. It’s great being a leader in the industry instead of a follower.

“If you had one piece of advice to someone thinking about applying to nesto, what would it be?”
